For example, consider a Program Name “ABC” and it has 10 seats in anyone category. During regular Round Allotment, 6 seats were filled with the scores: 77, 66, 52, 48, 42, 37. And 4 seats were vacant for Spot round.
Now, in spot round 15 candidates applied for these 4 vacant seats with the following the scores” 65, 55, 48, 62, 72, 82, 47, 45, 41, 40, 39, 36, 32, 26 and 20.
For allotment, already admitted students of regular round is indexed/ranked with spot round applicants, thus their rank/Index and allotment scenario will be:
