BHU-PG Spot Round Notification
Important Registration Dates
The Registration for the Spot Round Admission for PG programs will be live on the BHU website on July 10, 2026, and will remain open till July 14, 2026 23:59 hrs.
Eligible candidates can register against the vacant seats available on the BHU website. The allocation in the Spot Round shall be strictly on a Merit basis.
Eligibility for Spot Round Registration

Candidates who have not registered for BHU PG Counseling so far.
Non-refundable Registration fee of Rs. 500/- required

Candidates who registered for the BHU PG Counseling process but:
Waitlisted (Not offered any seat) Could not deposit fee in stipulated time Voluntary admission withdrawal
These candidates can alter or add new programs based on the vacant seats available.

GD-PI / Practical / Performance based Test Program:
There will be no Spot Round for these Programs, it will be consequent regular rounds
Important Notes
- Before applying for the Spot Round, candidates are advised to check the availability of seats and eligibility in the respective programs. Details of Eligibility can be seen in the PG Information Bulletin 2026.
- Candidates who are holding a seat and/or have already “FREEZED” their seat in the regular rounds will not be eligible for the Spot Round.
- The online portal will now be frozen for already admitted students; the options of “UPGRADE” or “WITHDRAW” will be disabled after July 08, 2026 23:59 hours.
Note: The Program/Department/Colleges-wise vacant seat status will be available on the BHU website before the Spot Round registration starts.
